Tickets will NOT be available at the door and a limited quantity of tickets are available.

Fun activities will be available throughout the zoo, leading up to the eclipse. The partial eclipse begins at 1:59 p.m. and lasts through 4:29 p.m., with totality at the Akron Zoo occurring from 3:13 - 3:17 p.m.

Eclipse glasses will be provided for all guests. A limited number of viewers will be available at a first-come, first serve basis for guests with sensory needs who might not be able to wear eclipse glasses.

Activities include:

  • Crafts
  • Keeper talks
  • Training wall demonstrations
  • Check out NASA Live broadcast throughout the day in Nature's Theater
  • Stop by one of our education stations to learn more about eclipses, outer space and more
