For your next school trip, company outing or family get-together, consider a visit to your Akron Zoo!

We offer group admission rates to eligible schools, families and organizations purchasing a minimum of 15 tickets. All groups must be registered, and tickets must be purchased at least one week in advance in one payment to receive group rate pricing. To register your group’s visit, please complete the Field Trip and Group Ticket request form below.

Winter Season (Nov. 1 - March 31)

All Winter Groups
  • $6 per person

Groups receive one free adult for every five students if purchased at least one week before visit.*

Field trip tickets are not available during Wild Lights.

Summer Season (April 1 - Oct. 31)

Schools K-12, Online/Virtual, Homeschools, Universities, etc.
  • $6 per student
  • $9 per adult

Groups receive one free adult for every five children if purchased at least one week before visit.*

Preschools, Day Cares, Summer Camps, Scouts, Families, etc.
  • $7 per child
  • $10 per adult

Groups receive one free adult for every five children if purchased at least one week before visit.*


Bus/Group Van Parking

Complimentary parking is available on buses and group vans on a first-come, first-served basis. Bus parking spaces are not guaranteed. Please have a plan in place with your driver in case the bus parking lot is full upon arrival.

Personal Vehicle Parking: $3 per vehicle when paid in advance ($5 on-site/day-of)


Educational Classroom Programs

Educational classroom programs are available to enhance your group visit. Programs are 30 minutes in length and feature an interaction with one of Akron Zoo’s ambassador animals.

*Program availability is limited and is suitable for ages 3 and up.

  • Animal Adaptations – Learn about physical and behavioral animal adaptations.
  • Habitats – Explore the different places animals call home, from the desert to the rainforest.
  • Build a Better World – Join us in learning why animals are becoming endangered, both worldwide and in our backyards, and what we can do to help them.
Topics for Groups of 30 - 100 Guests
  • Zoovivor - Meet some of our animal ambassadors and learn how they out-pounce, out-slither and out-soar to survive in their native habitats. After learning each animal’s adaptations, students will vote to crown Akron Zoo’s Zoovivor champion!
