Join us Akron Zoo's signature gala for an unforgettable evening where wildlife, celebration and conservation come together! Guests ages 21+ will enjoy after-hours access to the park featuring up-close animal encounters, delicious food and vibrant entertainment, offering a one-of-a-kind experience in support of Akron Zoo's mission.
By supporting Summer Safari, you are helping provide world-class care for the remarkable animals who call Akron Zoo home, expand STEM programming throughout Northeast Ohio and increase participation in wildlife conservation projects across the globe. Proceeds from the event benefit the Akron Zoo's Animal Fund to directly impact these important initiatives, and with your support, we can continue to foster a better world for wildlife together!
At Summer Safari you will enjoy:
- Keeper-led trainings and up-close meet & greets with amazing animals throughout the zoo
- 15 heavy hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants and caterers, as well as open bar featuring beer, wine, seltzer and spirits
- Live music and exciting entertainment across the park
- Online auction featuring exclusive zoo experiences, exciting area events, and fantastic items provided by local supporters

- General Admission: $125 per person
- Patron: $250 per person*

*Patron ticket holders enter Summer Safari an hour early for an exclusive pre-party to enjoy specialty hors d'oeuvres, private bar, unique animal experiences and the opportunity to mingle with Akron Zoo's conservation and animal care professionals.
