Attention Cleveland Zoo Members: Cleveland Zoo members may purchase up to six general admission tickets at $3 off during the Off-Season or $5 off during Peak Season when visiting the Akron Zoo. To receive the discount, please show your active membership card and photo I.D. at the ticket counter. This change has been made to align with the Cleveland Zoo's reciprocity offer.

eMembership Cards
Your Akron Zoo now offers digital membership cards as part of our efforts to be an environmentally friendly organization. Physical cards are no longer available.
Once you purchase or renew your membership, we'll need to process your membership on our end. We'll then send you an email within 7-10 business days with details on how to download your eMembership card. If you'd like to visit before that time, you can show a valid photo I.D. at our ticket counter or ticket taker stations.

Membership for two named adults and dependent children or grandchildren under the age of 18.
Family Plus Membership: $117
Membership for two named adults and dependent children or grandchildren under the age of 18, plus one named or unnamed guest.
Unnamed guests cannot use the membership without one of the named adults on the card being present.

Family Deluxe Membership: $147
Membership for two named adults and dependent children or grandchildren under the age of 18 plus two named or unnamed guests per visit.

Tax Information
As a nonprofit organization, the Akron Zoo is required by the IRS to provide written disclosure of the fair market value of benefits received. The amount of membership dues that is tax-deductible is the amount paid minus the fair market value of benefits you are entitled to receive. Fair market values are provided below:
- Individual Membership – estimated fair market value = $56
- Companion Membership – estimated fair market value = $112
- Companion Membership + 1 Guest – estimated fair market value = $168
- Family Membership – estimated fair market value = $200
- Family Plus – estimated fair market value = $256
- Family Deluxe Membership – estimated fair market value = $312
