Requirements for all applicants:
- Must be actively enrolled in college, or a recent college graduate (within one year)
- Must have strong public speaking skills and a good sense of humor
- Preference is given to those studying a major relating to the internship
All interns are encouraged to seek college credit from their university.
External Affairs Internship
The External Affairs intern will assist the External Affairs staff, including SVP/Chief External Affairs Officer, in the planning and implementation of fundraising special events, donor events, research, publications, writing and various other tasks to support the fundraising and communication goals of the Akron Zoo and External Affairs Department.
