Attend ye the Grand Ren Faire at the Akron Zoo, where whimsy and wonder doth unite amidst the verdant splendor of the beastly realm. Join us in this enchanted festival, where valiant knights and fair maidens in dazzling attire shall wend their way through market stalls brimming with curiosities and wares. Revel in the melodies of minstrels and bardic tales, whilst indulging in hearty fare and sweet confections fit for royalty.
Venture forth into realms both fabled and fantastical, where the majestic creatures of the Akron Zoo meet the magic of a bygone age. Play faire games and watch live entertainment throughout the day! Then, break out your finest drinking horns to make merry throughout the night! Be thee a warrior, a wizard, or a wanderer of whimsy; there shall be merriment aplenty for all.
IMPORTANT: Real weapons are not permitted into the zoo. This includes swords, maces, axes, etc. Fake, plastic weapons are allowed. Adults (15+) are prohibited from covering their faces with costume masks, mascot heads or face paint.

Unleash your wide side in "A Hero's Tail: Quest for the Missing Beast," a 30-minute D&D game with an exciting animal encounter
Take on the role of a brave animal in a lively adventuring party on a quest to rescue a missing zoo animal! Use your imagination, teamwork and unique skills to overcome challenges. Successful adventurers will be rewarded with an up-close animal encounter! Quests will run from 11-4 p.m. on all three days of the Renaissance Faire.
Up to 10 adventurers may participate in each game. Tickets for this experience will be available for $15, and may be purchased online or in-person.
