It is National Zoo Lovers Day and we are certainly feeling the love! Not sure how much you love the zoo? Have no fear! We have come up with a few guidelines to determine whether or not you are in fact a zoo lover!

• If your ringtone is an animal call instead of a song, you might be a zoo lover.
• If you have ever carried out a full conversation with one of our more vocal residents, like Tai Lung, you might be a zoo lover.
• If your phone contains more pictures of our animals than your own kids, you might be a zoo lover.
• If there is a zoo event you MUST ATTEND every year, you might be a zoo lover.
• If you are over the age of 16 and you still slide down the otter slide each time you visit us, you might be a zoo lover.
• If you have ever gotten to the gate before the zoo is open “to beat the rush,” you might be a zoo lover.
• If you know the individual names of one or more of our residents, and talk about them like close friends (Yeah, I was just hanging out with Jackson yesterday and…), you might be a zoo lover.
• If your profile picture contains a selfie with an animal, you might be a zoo lover.
• If your profile picture is ONLY a zoo animal, you might be a zoo lover.
• If all of your vacations contain trips to see zoos, aquariums or animal sanctuaries, you might be a zoo lover.
• If someone asks you what your favorite animal is and you start to feel anxious because it is too hard to choose just one, you might be a zoo lover.
