Naom, one of our female jaguars, is a smart and sassy 18 ½ year old cat. The average median life expectancy for a jaguar is 18 years, so you may say Naom is a “wise elder” of her species. Sadly for many animals, including humans, age often brings with it health complications and Naom is no exception. Our animal care team recently diagnosed Naom with malignant breast cancer. We are doing everything medically possible for her.
