Do you know a high school student who is interested in a career working with animals? Join us as we meet professionals in the zoo field and hear about their career path as we get nose to nose with a few of the zoo's residents.
At Wild Careers, following an open house format, you will rotate through engaging sessions led by current zoo professionals, from veterinary experts to animal care specialists and educational leaders. All of this fun, exciting information right on zoo grounds. You will learn about everything from animal training techniques to keeper responsibilities and the types of college programs that will help get you there.
Don't miss out on this unique opportunity to unleash your passion for zoos and pave the way for an exciting career path!
Activities will be located throughout the zoo, both inside and outside, and will occur rain or shine. Sessions will repeat throughout the day allowing guests to come at the time that works best for them. Lunch is not included, however, Komodo Kingdom Cafe will be open.
