Child Birthday Parties

Birthday PartiesGive your child a birthday to remember! Choose from several options to customize your party. Available for children ages 12 and younger. Have a wild time with your guests! Learn about our party options and fill out the form below to get started.

Party Packages includes:

  • Zoorific Fun Squad Member to set up and serve your party
  • Party time of two hours
  • Vegetable tray, animal crackers, Goldfish® crackers and beverages
  • Admission and parking for 15 guests (any combination of children and adults)
  • Invitations
  • Gift for birthday child
  • Party favors for child guests
  • Trip to your child’s favorite animal exhibit
  • Akron Zoo souvenirs for each party guest

Akron Zoo Members: $185
Additional Children: $14
Additional Adults: $6

Non-Members: $205
Additional Children: $16
Additional Adults: $8

*Receive a $20 discount if you book a party Monday – Friday during April – Sept. or any day Nov. – March.

Additional Add-Ons

Premium Add-ons (choose one): 

  • $30 – Animal encounter with education staff member includes an up-close experience with one education animal
  • $55 – Ride package includes carousel ride, train ride and Farmland feed (available April-September)
  • $60 – "It’s a Wild World Animal Show" viewing with birthday child appearing as special guest (available Tuesday – Saturday during June – August) *30 person maximum. Must be 5 years or older. Can only be added to 11 a.m. parties.
  • Zoorific birthday present: $50 Care for Critter package

Additional Experiences: 

  • $20 – Farmland Feed
  • $20 – Carousel Ride (available April – November)
  • $20 – Train Ride (available April – October)

Meal Options: 

  • Two Cheese or pepperoni pizzas: $25
  • Hot dog platter: $20

Minimum two weeks advance reservation required. For all birthday party packages there is a $50 non-refundable deposit to reserve a date.
