Feed The Animals

Akron Zoo Boma, Feed The GoatsMeet our new goats in our boma in Pride of Africa! A boma is a traditional Maasai livestock enclosure. Cows, sheep and goats are moved into the large, circular fenced areas every evening. The boma protects the livestock from lion attacks and reduces the chance of a deadly conflict.

Crackers are available for purchase to feed the goats for $2. Please note, crackers may be unavailable if the goats' bellies are too full.
