First time to visit Akron Zoo after 45 years. What a great zoo it’s become. Some very unusual exhibits. Everything displayed in very natural looking habitat. Even have Komodo dragons, snow leopard and upside-down jellyfish. Also enjoyed the lions, wolves, coyotes and otters. Grandson slid through the slide in otter exhibit. Even though zoo sits on a very hilly site, the walkway network is very easy to navigate even for visitors in wheelchairs. Vegetation is well maintained. Overall it was a great visit that took 2 hours to slowly cover the whole zoo. Parking is $3 and is very close to zoo entrance. The gift shop has lots of stuffed animals among other things.

We really enjoyed this zoo. It is just the right size to walk comfortably. We have been to many zoos, and never been so close up to so many animals.

What a blast we had, the kids enjoyed seeing all of the different animals at the Zoo and even got to feed a few of them in the petting zoo.
