For the second year in a row the Akron Zoo has shattered its attendance record for most visitors in a single day! On Sunday, October 23, during Boo at the Zoo, 7,550 guests visited, making it the highest attended day in Akron Zoo history. The previous record of 6,831 was set last October also during Boo at the Zoo.

So far this year in four nights of Boo at the Zoo 22,258 visitors have attended the popular family event. Guests still have time to visit Boo at the Zoo, if they have not already. The last two days of Boo at the Zoo will take place on October 29 and 30 from 11:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Boo at the Zoo is one of Northeast Ohio’s largest trick-or-treating events with 12 themed treat stations where kids can collect treats. The zoo is decorated in non-scary Halloween decorations and visitors can enjoy the zoo’s animals, carousel, train and the zoo’s 4-star green certified restaurant will be serving a pizza buffet.
